Puthagam Club

I thought it'd be a good idea to start a book club. We pick up a book, one a month, read it and come back to exchange views about it. Simple as that. What say, people? Let's get this rolling from July. The very first Puthagam club choice is...

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

Please click on book to buy it on amazon.com

  • Good idea Ammani. Let me see if I can get a copy of this from British Council here. Also, it would be better if you can give the amazon link to the book.

  • Hi ammani,
actually I already saw this via Chen's blog. Thanks much for the invite but I can never read anything I am required to......
That is the reason I have never belonged to a book club despite all the love I have professed.
People have said you pick the book- still it becomes a chore for me.

    sorry ammani........
    I do appreciate the azhaipuu...

I ahve another idea which I need to ask you about. Will do it offline once it becomes a little more concrete..

  • Fab idea, Ammani. Yes, I was reading Jodi Picoult - but the book I read was "Plain Truth", a murder mystery of sorts set in the Amish community. "My Sister's Keeper" sounds like a good one, too. Library, here I come!
